A hidden gem of Western Kansas, we headed to Monument Rocks where Anny and Billy’s engagement session turned into what Pinterest dreams are made of, I mean seriously! (They don’t call these rocks one of the 7 wonders of Kansas for nothing!)

After dating through high school, Billy asked Anny to marry him in October of 2019. They brought some serious regal vibes to their engagement session which was filled with laughter and dancing.

Engagement sessions are the best way to break the ice of feeling awkward in front of the camera. As the photographer I always love having my couples interact with each other to help them loosen up, which helps them to feel even more comfortable when their wedding day comes!

The cool tones in the sky blended perfectly with the rocks and brought out an edgy side to the whole landscape. Being secluded from the outside world helps couples relax and focus on each other without worrying about any extra curious eyes. Monument Rocks was the perfect spot to capture Anny and Billy, who were such a dream to photograph.

I’m so looking forward to their wedding in June!
